Now, a lot of people rent films on a regular basis. More often than not they wait for the DVD to come out, in place of going to the movies. Here is a short list of some of big winners in the DVD rental world.

An additional avenue for acquiring movies is movie downloads. There are websites where you can purchase downloads of 1,000's of movies. This a very convenient way to create a film library.

INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL: Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) returns to action, after a 19 year break. This makes four movies in the Indiana Jones series. In this, the latest adventure, Mr. Jones takes on the Russians. This time everyone is searching for ancient relics called the Crystal Skulls, which are thought to have secret powers.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: Former criminal Ben Garvey seems to have gotten his act together. With a stable home, and steady paycheck, things are pretty darn good. Then, he inexplicably loses his steady paycheck, and he finds himself heading back into the criminal world. This goes terribly wrong, and he is convicted, and sentenced to die. He is sent to die. To his surprise, he wakes up bewildered, and in an insane asylum. He now fights for his sanity, and his soul.

LINEWATCH: Michael Dixon is a veteran boarder patrolman in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. Soon his past is about to rear it's ugly head. He grew up in the violent L.A. gang scene, which he eventually left. When a bad twist of fate exposes his whereabouts to a member of his old gang, his family is put in a potentially deadly situation. For the sake of his family, he will take a huge risk, and work with the gang to move a large drug shipment across the border.

THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This film is about Military scientist Dr. Bruce Banner, who has been changed into a creature called the green Hulk. This feature film is based on the marvel comic hero, the Incredible Hulk. Edward Norton is the top star in this film. The director is Louis Leterrier. The film genre is sci-fi/action.

DECEPTION: Jonathan McQuarry, a bored and lonely corporate auditor, has a surprising meeting with big time corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. It is a meeting that turns his life upside down. John is exposed to "The List", which provides access to a secret world of sexual pleasures. However, he is driven into a treacherous game of back stabbing and death.

JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a quest to find his lost brother, a science professor explores caves in Iceland that puts him on a journey to the center of earth. This another version of the 1959 film, which was about the classic work by Jules Verne. Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers star in this adventure film.

THE HAPPENING: Confused and frightened, teacher Elliot Moore, with his wife, and Julian, with his daughter Jess are leaving Philadelphia by train. Philadelphia has been thrown into chaos. Many people are being overcome by some strange illness, and are committing suicide. Can mankind solve this dilemma, or are we witnessing the final acts of man on this planet?

IRON MAN: Weapons developer, business mogul, Tony Stark is attacked and taken by Afghan insurgents. They command him to build weapons for the insurgent group. He was wounded when he was abducted, and has metal in his chest. To overcome his wound, and escape his captors, he develops a suit of armor, which protects and strengthens him. We now have another super hero, Iron Man.

SPEED RACER: A cartoon from the 90's is now a movie hit. As you saw with The Flinstones, Speed Racer turns a cartoon to a movie with an actual cast. Young Speed Racer who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a very dangerous race that his older brother had died racing in. With odds against him, and the family business on the line, he joins forces with his old rival Racer X, to attempt to take the title, and rescue the family racing business.
