Currently, the majority of people rent movies on a regular basis. Normally we will wait for the DVD rentals to hit the stores, instead of going to the theater. Here is a short list of some of most heavily rented DVD's in Oct. 2008.

THE LAZARUS PROJECT: One time crook Ben Garvey seems to have gotten his act together. With a beauitiful wife and daughter, and steady paycheck, things are pretty darn good. Then, he loses his job, and reverts to his old life of crime. The heist is a complete failure, and he is convicted, and sentenced to die. He fully expects to be killed by lethal injection. Shockingly, he regains consciousness only to find himself in a psychiatric ward. Now its all on the line, his sanity, and his soul.
LINEWATCH: Well likes Michael Dixon is a boarder man in New Mexico, and life seems to be good. But Michael's past is about to rear it's ugly head. He was part of a brutal L.A. gang, which he eventually left. When an unfortunate meeting gives away his location to a member of his old gang, he and his family are put in a dangerous situation. He is forced risk it all, and work with the gang to move a large drug shipment from Mexico into the U.S.
THE INCREDIBLE HULK: This movie tells the story of Dr. Bruce Banner, who has been changed into a creature called the green Hulk. The film is about the comic legend, the Hulk. Actors Edward Norton, Tim Roth, William hurt, Liv Tyler play key roles in this film. The director is Louis Leterrier. This movie would be classified as a science fiction film.
DECEPTION: Accountant Jonathan McQuarry has an unusual meeting with charismatic corporate lawyer Wyatt Bose. It is a meeting that changes his life forever. John is exposed to "The List", which provides access to a secret world of sexual extasy. Unfortunately, he also gets caught up in a treacherous game of back stabbing and murder.
JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH: On a mission to discover what happened to his brother, professor Trevor Anderson sets out on a journey that puts him on a journey to the center of earth. This is a new version of the 1959 production, which was based on the brilliant book by Jules Verne. Cast includes Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutchinson, Anita Briem, and Seth Myers.
THE HAPPENING: Elliot Moore, and many others are getting away from the big city. Philadelphia has been thrown into chaos. Many people are being overcome by an unusual force, and are killing themselves. Will mankind find an answer, or is this the last stand of man on this planet?
IRON MAN: Playboy, engineer genius, Tony Stark is captured by insurgent fighters in Afghanastan. They command him to build weapons for the insurgent group. He was injured when his convoy was attacked, and he has shrapnel lodged in his chest. To survive his injuries, and break away from his enemies, he develops a suit of armor, which protects and strengthens him. Iron Man is born.
SPEED RACER: A cartoon from the 90's gets real actors. Just like The Flinstones, Speed Racer was a TV cartoon that was turned into a feature film with actors. Speed Racer who loves racing. His goal is to win The Crucible, a very dangerous race that had cost his brother his life. Against the odds, and risking it all, Speed Racer teams with his arch rival Racer X, to attempt to take the title, and keep his families racing business alive.
