players who normally not be interested in gaming are now getting involved with Wii because of the gaming platform interaction and there new games.
The wii is a win-win for nintendo because of its ability to enhance enjoyment for the whole family as well as increasing physical fitness. Where else can you ski at home in the summer with games lke Wii Ski. This is among the top sellers and is a huge success.
Everything buy now has to be HD as we have entered into a new visualization era. There is speculation that the new wii will have an enhanced HD format and is to be released in 2011. The only thing missing is 3D and 4D.
Another upgrade to the Wii in the rumor mill is how the player will interact with the gaming console. Whether it is a blue tooth controller with more features to simulate the real thing, we will have to wait and see.
The storage medium of the console is another aspect speculated upgrades in the new wii. Possibly a new and improved large flash drive or maybe a bigger and better hard drive that will enhance the performance of the system.
With the addition of HD, imagine getting together with a group of your friends though a network and spend the day skiing down the mountain trails in an envoronment that would seem so real. Or putting together a baseball game that seems that you are actually at the park. What can you imagine?
According to the financial reports, Nintendo has spent about 10 times more on R & D than it did five years ago. This alone shows the commitment by Nintendo to develop the most advanced gaming system on the market,
Even though 2011 seems to be off in the distance, the release of the new wii will be worth tha wait. I look forward to 2011.
