If you like ambition stories, then Never Back Down is the one for you. This is a story about a guy called Jake, the key factor behind his teams winning at a match. A comment from the lost opponent team sets his fuses off and the resulting brawl found a slot at Youtube. Jake, in the last year of the school, gets chucked out from the basketball team. Jake and his family then moves to Orlando, Florida.

Jakes short temper has landed him in many a troubles and this time, it is a problem that keeps him from gelling to his new school crowd but not in the process of coming across Baja Miller, the most popular girl in the school. It sort of turned Jakes senses blunt; he now interferes into a street-kickboxing session to rescue his fellow student Max. Jake is boo-ed at but his Youtube brawl gets flashed to bring him back some portion of his lost honor. Jake now gathers up friends fast and also gets suggestions regarding getting into learning some advanced fighting techniques. As for Baja, she takes Jake to a party that her boyfriend Ryan has thrown. Jake joins her but gets challenged later at the party for a fight and its a trap set by his friends; the previous incident at his ex-school grounds repeats over. This time, Jake loses miserably and he gets determined for learning advanced fighting techniques.

So, Jake starts getting some positive reputation in the campus; even Max suggests that he meets his instructor to learn advanced fighting techniques. Baja plays it a bit different, to show her appreciation to Jake, she invites him to a party her boyfriend Ryan has thrown. Jake does what every man would do, only to decline challenges later at the party, thrown by none but Ryan. It took him sometime to realize that hes been set up and the same cruel joke makes an angry Jake fight and accept defeat miserably.

Never Back Down is a movie that deals with an emotional yet strong spirited teenagers trials and tribulations in modern urban life. Constant bullying, nagging and provoking form the crux of testing situations he is subject to and every time he loses his cool, he loses against his temper. This is definitely a movie you can watch if youve got absolutely nothing to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
