Sony Entertainment has launch its next generation computer entertainment system, the PlayStation 3. PS3 features Cell, a processor developed by six leading entertainment companies: SCEI, Rambus Inc., IBM, NVIDIA Corporation, Sony and Toshiba. It also has Blu-ray Disc ROM with a maximum storage of up to 54 GB (Dual Layer). This new creation provides entertainment content in High Definition quality through modern technology under copyright protection. PS3 technology features a high resolution of 2080 progressive scan method as a standard - a step above 720 Progressive Scan method/1080 interface method. Computer power is increased to 2 teraflops (a new graphics expression never before possible). All the characters and objects are more refined and realistic, landscapes and environments are presented in real-time. Consumers will be able to enter the world as it is seen and experience all the action in real time. With over 13000 game titles available, all software is compatible with PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 systems.
